Singapore – New Operating Hours at Ministry of Manpower Service Centres

What has changed

Effective June 3, 2019 new operating hours will come into effect at the Ministry of Manpower Services Centre (MOMSC) Hall C, and the Employment Pass Services Centres (EPSC).

From that date, the services centres will operate from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM and will no longer remain open later on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Moreover, a security check has been introduced at the EPSC, which is causing long queues and delays in processing of card registrations, lost card interviews and pass issuance and cancellation for employment pass holders and their dependants.

Previously, applicants were not subject to complete a security check at the EPSC.

Who is affected

All clients who currently or will employ foreign nationals in Singapore who are applying for card registrations, replacements for lost cards, and employment passes for employees and their dependants.

What to expect

Given the new security check and revised operating hours of the EPSCs, the application process may take more time than previously.
