What has changed?
The Online Work Pass Portal (EPOL) has continued to exhibit technical issues over the last few weeks. It is understood that this has been linked to the merging of the system log-in method from a personal log in (SingPass) to a company log in (CorpPass). As a consequence, Emigra Singapore has been encountering difficulties in drafting and submitting work pass / dependant pass application forms, uploading documents to the EPOL system and downloading approval notifications. The EPOL is either inaccessible, logs out the user without prior notice, or has been extremely slow in loading. These technical issues have been intermittent, but appear to be more prevalent on Mondays, sometimes extending into Tuesdays.
Who is affected?
All clients trying to access EPOL.
What to expect
Although the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has been made aware of the issues, they continue to persist and cause delays. As there is no information from MOM on when the system issues will be rectified.
