On May 23, 2018, the Federal Council approved the list of occupation types published in April by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), which will require Swiss employers to communicate vacancies in high-unemployment fields and registration with the local employment authority (RAV) as of July 1, 2018.
